These flexible, aquarium air diffusers produce a small curtain of air bubbles. Diffusers are rubber porous tubing with a flexible lead insert & 3/16” barbed inlet. They can be bent in a circle, straight line or almost any shape. 

These cylindrical diffusers are constructed of silica alumina that is heat-bonded. They produce a bubble size of 1.0-2.0 mm and generally require a higher pressure than Sweetwater® medium pore diffusers. They have a molded square support on each end which protects the diffusers from abrasives like concrete tank bottoms, and also protects the tank or liner from the diffuser. They fit both 3/16” and 1/4” tubing and are 1.2” in diameter (Note: None of the air diffusers we carry require a “MSDS” sheet for disposal.)
