Chiller Tips

Insulate chiller lines and holding tank

Chiller should be well ventilated

Remember pumps add heat, if submersiable pump is used, consider selecting next size larger chiller

Water should be running through chiller at all times while it is running

Allow 24 hours for inital chilling

Check filter often making sure chiller dose not clog

Reduce bio-fouling by filtering water before it goes to the chiller

Drop-In Titanium Coil Chiller
All you do is place this chiller by your tank and drop the coil in the water and turn it on. Water circulation past the coil is required. If there is no water circulation just place an air diffuser under the coil. The coil on these chillers provide 60% more surface area than other drop in types. All chillers are set at the factory to operate at your specified temperature. Temperature must be specified when ordering. Option A allows operating range between 50-65 F. Add A to part # when ordering.

AquaLogic Flow-Through Chiller

Titanium TrimLine Chillers

These chillers have the same reliable design and features as all other AquaLogic chillers except in smaller packages. The enclosure is made of stainless steel andhas ABS inserts. Both models use the helical coil heat exchanger design and include digital temperature controllers mounted with a 4 foot cable so they can be remote mounted. They display temperature, setpoint, minimum and maximum temp. A titanium temperature sensor is included with a 6 foot cord.

Delta Star Chillers

These high quality chillers are made with oversized titanium evaporator coils for maximum efficiency. These evaporators have become the standard for aquaculture because they are fish and saltwater safe. Their low profile makes them easy to fit in tight places. The compressor and motor are very quiet so the unit can be placed in the work place. The motor is made by Tecumesh and will provide years of reliable service.

All chillers come standard with a digital timer and 4 foot cord.
All of our chillers have a two year limited warranty.
Option A- Allows operation between 50-65 degrees F.
Option B- Allows operation between 40-80 degrees F.

Delta Star Heat Pumps

Delta Star heat pumps automatically handle both heating and cooling duties in fresh and salt water applications. Titanium heat exchangers means you get the best in corrosion resistance.

A properly sized and installed heat pump will provide stable, controlled water temperature.

Pumps include a dual stage temperature controller in a NEMA 4X rated waterproof enclosure and will maintain water temperature from 40 to 85 degrees F.
